Pre-Race Opportunity: Ride the 2025 European BMX Track Before the Showdown Begins

Before Europe’s elite riders storm the gates at the 2025 UEC BMX Racing European Championships, the legendary Māris Štrombergs BMX track is opening its start gates to anyone ready to test their speed and skill.

On Sunday, 6 July 2025, BMX athletes of all levels are invited to take part in the “Valmiera Business Trophy 2025 – READY FOR THE BMX EC”: an open-format race designed to let you experience a championship-level course ahead of the big event.
No federation license needed – just your bike, your transponder, and your game face.

Participants will put their skills to the test under professional conditions, featuring multiple start hill heights (3 m, 5 m, 8 m), real-time timing, and a race format aligned with UCI standards.
Young riders will have the chance to gain valuable experience for future races and victories, while riders in the B8/G8 and older age groups will benefit from the rare opportunity to race on the very track where Europe’s best will soon compete.

The top 1st–8th place finishers in each category will receive prizes provided by the organizers and sponsors. Riders in the PRO categories (PRO MEN 17+; PRO WOMEN 17+) will be awarded sponsor-provided prizes plus cash prizes.
